Southern Electric is an ongoing personal project recreating the travel poster aesthetic of last century with added motion. The original artists were experts at adding a sense of movement to their static works, but I wanted to see how they would actually look moving. These three examples are works in progress for larger cinemagraphs and posters for digital signage. The trains were modelled in Cinema 4D, and the 3D renders were composited in After Effects.
